  • 1、 Equipment Introduction 

    Shenyang Guangcheng Technology GCAN-PLC-510 is a programmable logic controller (PLC) with integrated bus control function. It not only has the characteristics of simple appearance and high cost-effectiveness, but also can be easily connected to CAN bus systems and Modbus systems, and can be expanded through plug-in modules. 

    The GCAN-PLC-510 series products consist of a programmable main control module (GCAN-PLC-510), several GC series IO modules, and a terminal resistor module (GC-0001). GCAN-PLC-510 and other main control modules can connect to all GC series IO modules. Users can choose to expand IO modules according to their actual needs on site. With sufficient power supply, the maximum number of IO modules can be expanded by 32. When the number of expansion modules exceeds 16, an additional IO power supply expansion module GC 8012 needs to be added to ensure sufficient power supply. The main control module can automatically allocate addresses according to the front and rear positions of the inserted IO modules, achieving automatic configuration. Users do not need to create configuration interfaces or set parameters on the PC. 

    GCAN-PLC-510 can be programmed using OpenPCS software or CodeSys V3.5SP16 and above software versions. The software supports five standard programming languages specified in the IEC-61131-3 standard, which makes the program highly portable and reusable. Additionally, the software has multiple debugging functions (breakpoints, single steps, etc.), making debugging programs more convenient.

    ● 1 CAN bus interface, 1 Ethernet interface, 1 RS232/485 (multiplexed) serial interface; 

    ● Programming software: OpenPCS/CodeSys (programming language compliant with IEC 61131-3 standard); 
    ● Support CANopen protocol master/slave station function; 
    ● Supports Modbus RTU/TCP master/slave functionality; 
    ● Under sufficient power supply, the maximum number of expandable IO modules is 32 (up to 32x8 DI/DO points); When the number of expansion modules exceeds 16, an additional IO powered expansion module GC 8012 needs to be added to ensure sufficient power supply; 
    ● By default, send 4 PDOs (CANopen) and receive 4 PDOs (CANopen); 
    ● The configuration mode is in the form of automatic configuration; 
    ● The power supply adopts 24V DC (18~30V); 
    ● The maximum input current is 400mA (total GC bus current); 
    ● Starting current: approximately 2.5 times the continuous current; 
    ● Electrical isolation is 1500 Vrms; 
    ● Working temperature range: -40 ℃~+85 ℃; 
    ● Protection level: IP20;
