1. Equipment Introduction
The GCAN-4048 module from Shenyang Guangcheng Technology is an industrial-grade CANopen analog quantity acquisition module that integrates one standard CANopen interface and eight thermocouple inputs. By utilizing the GCAN-4048 module, users can simultaneously acquire eight signals, facilitating the connection between remote analog quantity acquisition devices and the CANopen network, thereby forming a control node for analog signal acquisition within the CANopen network. Currently, the GCAN-4048 module supports J-type, K-type, T-type, and S-type thermocouples, and the thermocouple models, multipliers, and offsets for the eight channels can be freely configured.
The GCAN-4048 module is a crucial tool for analog signal acquisition. Upon power-on, it automatically receives data. Additionally, this module boasts compact size and convenient wiring. The bus interface of the GCAN-4048 module integrates an isolation protection module, safeguarding it from damage caused by transient overvoltage and overcurrent. Its DIN rail mounting method facilitates integration into various control cabinets.

● CAN-bus supports the CAN2.0A frame format, which complies with the ISO/DIS 11898 specification;
● The CAN-bus interface employs electrical isolation, with an isolation module insulation voltage of DC 1500V;
● Use 8~32V DC power supply (recommended standard voltage 24V);
● Number of thermocouple input channels: 8 channels;
● The error is ≤0.1% of the full scale;
● Type J thermocouple: -200 to 1190℃, refer to Table N.I.S.T. Monograph 175, ITS-90 International Temperature Scale;
● Type K thermocouple: -260~1360℃, refer to Table N.I.S.T Monograph 175, ITS-90 International Temperature Scale;
● Type T thermocouple: -240 to 390℃, refer to Table N.I.S.T Monograph 175, ITS-90 International Temperature Scale;

● Configure the module baud rate and node number using the dip switch;
