1. Equipment Introduction
GCAN-PLC-325 is a programmable logic controller (PLC) with integrated bus control function. It not only has the characteristics of simple appearance and high cost-effectiveness, but also can be easily connected to CAN bus systems and Modbus systems, and can be expanded through plug-in IO modules.
The GCAN-PLC-325 product consists of a programmable main control module, several GC series IO modules (GC-1416, GC-2416, etc.), and a terminal resistor module. The GCAN-PLC-325 main control module can connect all GC series IO modules, and users can choose to expand IO modules according to their actual needs on site. The maximum number of IO modules can be expanded by 32. The main control module can automatically allocate addresses based on the front and rear positions of the inserted IO modules, achieving automatic configuration.
GCAN-PLC-325 can be programmed using OpenPCS software or CodeSys V3.5SP16 and abovesoftware versions. The software supports five standard programming languages specified in the IEC-61131-3 standard, which makes the program highly portable and reusable. Additionally, the software has multiple debugging functions (breakpoints, single steps, etc.), making debugging programs more convenient.
GCAN-PLC-325 not only can complete various digital/analog input/output, but also integrates multiple commonly used industrial fieldbus, such as CAN bus, 485 bus, Ethernet bus, and supports common communication protocols such as CANopen, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, etc.
The GC series IO modules include switch input and output modules, analog input and output modules, pulse input and output modules, etc.
