  • 1. Equipment Introduction 

    The GCAN-GT-418 series products from Guangcheng Technology are high-performance CAN/CANFD products that integrate 3/6/9 CAN/CANFD channels and 1 Ethernet interface. By using the GCAN-GT-418 series products, users can easily achieve interconnection and interoperability between CAN/CANFD networks and Ethernet networks, further expanding the scope of CAN/CANFD networks. 

    The CAN interface and power interface of GCAN-GT-418 series products are integrated with electrical isolation protection modules, which prevent equipment damage caused by instantaneous overcurrent/overvoltage and enhance the reliability of the system in harsh environments. 

    2. Product selection 

    ● The gateway series GCAN-GT-418 product has 3/6/9 electrically isolated CAN/CANFD bus interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. Ethernet has multiple working modes such as TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, etc. It is a high-performance industrial grade Ethernet and CAN/CANFD data conversion device; 


    The GCAN-GT-418 bridge series product has 3/6/9 electrically isolated CAN/CANFD bus interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. CAN/CANFD1 serves as the master node, CAN/CANFD 2-3/2~6/2~9 serves as the slave nodes, and each slave node can carry up to 32 CAN devices. The baud rates of the master and slave nodes can be freely configured to achieve the bridge function of the CAN/CANFD network, which can forward CAN/CANFD network data of different rates to the CAN/CANFD1 channel; 

    The programmable series GCAN-GT-418 product has 3/6/9 electrically isolated CAN/CANFD bus interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. Supports protocols such as CANopen, Modbus, J1939, and CAN/CANFD free ports. Through free programming, data communication and conversion between different bus interfaces can be achieved.

    The programmable model supports protocols such as CANopen, Modbus, J1939, and supports CAN and CANFD free ports; 
    Standard DIN rail installation method, specifically designed for industrial use.
