1. Equipment Introduction
The Shenyang Guangcheng Technology GCAN-205 module is a protocol conversion module that integrates one standard Ethernet interface and one standard CAN interface from Modbus TCP to CAN. By using the GCAN-205 module, users can easily achieve interconnection and intercommunication between CAN bus network and Ethernet network, further expanding the scope of CAN bus network. GCAN-205 can bridge the Ethernet network with the CAN bus network. Users can integrate this intelligent protocol conversion module into their own system, enabling the Ethernet network and CAN bus, which do not have mutual communication capabilities, to quickly have communication capabilities. This saves development time, reduces development costs, and quickly seizes market opportunities.
The GCAN-205 module has been widely used in building network environments such as fieldbus laboratories, industrial control networks, and intelligent community monitoring. At the same time, the device has the characteristics of small size, plug and play, and the module uses a DIN rail installation method, making it particularly suitable for industrial sites or cabinets to be used in conjunction with other devices. The GCAN-205 module has integrated a CAN interface electrical isolation protection module, which prevents equipment damage caused by transient overcurrent/overvoltage and enhances the reliability of the system in harsh environments.

● Working temperature range: -40 ℃~+85 ℃;
● Working humidity range: 5%~95% RH without condensation;

(2) CAN attribute
● Integrate 1 CAN bus interface and use terminal wiring method;
● The CAN bus number includes: CAN_S, CAN_L, CAN_SND;
● The CAN bus supports CAN2.0A and CAN2.0B frame formats and complies with the ISO/DIS 11898 specification;
● The baud rate of CAN bus communication can be programmed between 5kbps and 1Mbps;
● The CAN bus interface adopts electrical isolation, and the insulation voltage of the isolation module is DC 1500V;
