1. Equipment Introduction
GCAN-PLC-522 is a nationally produced programmable logic controller (PLC) that integrates a quad core processor with instruction processing speed in the tens of seconds; Supports bus control functions such as EtherCAT master station and CAN bus system, and can also be expanded through plug-in GC series IO modules.
The GCAN-PLC series products consist of a programmable main control module (GCAN-PLC-522, etc.), several GC series IO modules (GC-1008, GC-3804, etc.), and a terminal resistor module (GC-0001). The main control module can be connected to 8/16 hole version GC series IO modules. Users can choose to expand IO modules according to their actual needs on site. With sufficient power supply, the maximum number of IO modules can be expanded by 32. When the number of expansion modules exceeds 16, an additional IO powered expansion module GC 8012 needs to be added to ensure sufficient power supply. The main control module can automatically allocate addresses according to the front and rear positions of the inserted IO modules, achieving automatic configuration. Users do not need to create a configuration interface or set parameters on the PC.
In terms of programming, GCAN-PLC supports CODESYS V3.5 SP16 and above development environments, complies with the IEC-61131-3 international standard, and supports five standard programming languages (LD, FBD, ST, IL, SFC). The code has high portability and reusability. The development environment provides professional debugging tools such as breakpoint debugging and single step execution, and supports online monitoring and diagnosis. In terms of communication capability, GCAN-PLC-522 integrates multiple industrial fieldbus, such as RS232/485 bus, CAN bus, Ethernet bus, EtherCAT bus, etc.
The GC series IO modules cover a wide range, including switch input and output modules, analog input and output modules, pulse input and output modules, and communication port expansion modules (RS232/485, 4G, WiFi, GPRS, etc.).
