1. Equipment Introduction
Guangcheng Technology GCAN-212 (CANET-II) is a high-performance CAN bus communication interface card that integrates 2 CAN interfaces and 1 Ethernet interface. By using the GCAN-212 high-performance CAN interface card, users can easily interconnect CAN bus networks and Ethernet networks, further expanding the scope of CAN bus networks. The GCAN-212 high-performance CAN interface card from Guangcheng Technology is a powerful tool for CAN bus product development and CAN bus data analysis. PCs can quickly connect to CAN bus networks through Ethernet interfaces, forming CAN bus network control nodes for data processing and acquisition in CAN bus network fields such as fieldbus laboratories, industrial control, intelligent communities, and automotive electronic networks. The GCAN-212 from Guangcheng Technology has integrated a CAN interface electrical isolation protection module, which prevents equipment damage caused by transient overcurrent/overvoltage and enhances the reliability of the system in harsh environments.

(2) CAN attribute

● The CAN bus signal includes: CAN_S, CAN_L, CAN_SND;
● CAN bus supports CAN2.0A and CAN2.0B frame formats and complies with the ISO/DIS11898 specification;
● The CAN bus communication baud rate can be programmed between 5Kbps and 1Mbps;
● The CAN bus interface adopts electrical isolation, and the insulation voltage of the isolation module is DC 1500V;
● 32 hardware FIFO receive buffers, maximum data transmission rate: 8000 frames per second; Maximum received data traffic: 14000 frames per second;
● The timestamp accuracy of receiving messages on the CAN end can reach 1us.
(3) Ethernet properties
● Using standard Ethernet interfaces, RJ45, Support 10/100M adaptive;
● Support heartbeat and timeout disconnect function;
● The work port, target IP, and target port can all be set;
● Automatically restore connection resources after network disconnection and reliably establish TCP connections;
● Compatible with SOCKET working modes (TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, etc.), the upper computer communication software is written in accordance with standard SOCKET rules.
