1. Equipment Introduction
Shenyang Guangcheng Technology's GCAN-413 is a programmable bus gateway/converter with IO capabilities. This device integrates 2 CAN bus interfaces, 1 Ethernet bus interface, 2 RS485 bus interfaces, and 1 RS232 bus interface. Before practical use, users need to write applications for this device through the OpenPCS software to achieve data conversion between different bus interfaces. The GCAN-413 module supports multiple standard communication protocols, such as CANopen, SAE J1939, ModbusTCP, Modbus RTU, etc. Users can directly select the corresponding protocol function block for loading and use in practical applications. The addition of function blocks simplifies user programming work, requiring users to only understand basic PLC programming instructions and the characteristics and parameters of the corresponding bus and protocol to complete the programming task.
The GCAN-413 module supports 12 channels of digital input (DI) and 8 channels of digital output (DO). The GCAN-413 can be programmed using OpenPCS software, which supports five standard PLC programming languages specified in the IEC-61131-3 standard, such as SFC (Sequential Function Chart), LD (Ladder Diagram), FBD (Function Block), ST (Structured Text), and IL (Instruction List). This makes the program highly portable and reusable. Moreover, the software also has various debugging functions (such as power-off, single-step, monitoring, etc.), making debugging the program more convenient.
