1. Equipment Introduction
The Shenyang Guangcheng Technology GCAN-410 is a programmable bus gateway/converter. This device integrates one CAN bus interface, one Ethernet bus interface, one RS485 bus interface, and one RS232 bus interface. Before practical use, users need to write applications for this device through the OpenPCS software to achieve data conversion between different bus interfaces. The GCAN-410 module supports multiple standard communication protocols, such as CANopen, SAE J1939, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, etc. Users can directly select the corresponding protocol function block for loading and use in practical applications. The addition of function blocks simplifies user programming work, requiring users to only understand basic PLC programming instructions and the characteristics and parameters of the corresponding bus and protocol to complete the programming task.
GCAN-410 can be programmed using OpenPCS software, which supports five standard PLC programming languages specified in the IEC-61131-3 standard, including SFC (Sequential Function Chart), LD (Ladder Diagram), FBD (Function Block Diagram), ST (Structured Text), and IL (Instruction List). This makes the program highly portable and reusable. Moreover, the software also features various debugging functions (such as power-off, single-step, monitoring, etc.), making debugging the program more convenient.
