CAN optical fiber interface equipment can be divided into single model number and multi-model number, single-core model and dual-core model, one-fiber two-channel CAN model and two-fiber one-channel CAN model, etc. according to different division methods. Can optical fiber interface devices generally have three connection methods, let's talk about the following:
 
1. The first connection method, that is, there are only two can fiber interface devices with one fiber and two CAN, that is, you can only connect me and me, this is the most basic connection method, simple operation but high application risk, If something goes wrong, it will easily collapse.
 
2. The second connection method is to directly connect a can optical interface device with two optical fibers and one CAN to two can optical interface devices with two optical fibers and one CAN. Of course, the total number of devices in this connection mode is three, and it does not mean that only three devices can be connected. This connection method is currently the most mainstream. Although the operation is more difficult, it can deal with more complicated relay projects. Note that this connection method is developed and not closed-loop connected.
 
3. The third connection method, which is the closed surround connection mentioned in our title, requires us to use only two optical fibers and one CAN optical fiber interface device, which are connected at the end to form a closed loop. In this case, even if there is a problem with the device or the line clockwise, the counterclockwise direction will allow us to work normally, and vice versa. Because it is a wrap-around connection, the number of our devices is required to be three or more, as shown in the following figure. By comparison, we can know that this connection method is the most scientific and safest, and is a more perfect CAN data method for fiber optic relay.
