CANopenIO module configuration instructions

Users can use the DIP switch on the top of the module to set the parameters of the GCAN-4055 module to meet the needs of practical applications. The configuration of GCAN-4055 module includes the node number and baud rate of the module.
 
Please note: After changing the parameters of the GCAN-4055 module through the DIP switch, the new parameters will take effect after the module is powered on again.
 
1. CAN node number configuration
 
As shown in the figure below, when each bit of the DIP switch is turned to the "ON" position, the bit is "1". If it is turned to the "OFF" position, the bit is "0". The 2-8 digits of the DIP switch are used to set the node number (MACID) of the module. The eighth digit is the lowest digit and the second digit is the highest digit. The node number (MACID) of the module is the sum of the decimal values corresponding to each bit. The valid range of the node number (MACID) of the module is set by the DIP switch, ranging from 0 to 127.
Please note: The first position of the DIP switch is the configuration DIP. The default is OFF (below). Please do not toggle.
 
2. CAN baud rate configuration
 
Bits 1-4 of the right DIP switch are used to set the baud rate of the module. The first bit is the low bit and the fourth bit is the high bit. The corresponding values of baud rate and switch settings are shown in the table below.
Here is a note about its use:
 
1. The digital input signal voltage of GCAN-4055 module cannot exceed + 30V at the highest, otherwise the module input port may be damaged. At the same time, pay attention to the signal polarity when wiring the wet contact input signal to avoid reverse connection.
 
2. The output signal of GCAN-4055 module is open-drain output, the maximum load voltage is + 30V, and the maximum load current is 20mA. Therefore, it cannot drive a load with a larger current.
