The GCAN-PLC Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is a bus module controller with integrated PLC functions. It has the characteristics of compact shape and high cost performance. It can be used to connect CAN bus system, Modbus system and distributed bus terminal modules, and these terminal modules can be expanded by modular means.
The GCAN-PLC series consists of a programmable main control module (GCAN-PLC-400), several GC series IO modules (GC-1008 GC-3804) and a terminal terminal module (GC-0001).
The main control module such as GCAN-PLC-400 can be connected to all GC series IO modules. Users can suspend the expansion IO module according to the actual needs of the site. The number of expansion IO modules can be up to 32. The main control module such as GCAN-PLC-400 supports automatic configuration. The user does not need to set parameters on the PC. The main control module will be automatically configured according to the front and rear positions of the terminal module.
GCAN-PLC can be programmed with OpenPCS software, which supports five standard programming languages as specified in the IEC-61131-3 standard, which makes the program portable and reusable, and the software has many Debugging functions (such as breakpoints, single step, monitoring, etc.) make debugging easier.
GCAN-PLC not only can complete a variety of digital / analog input / output, but also integrates a variety of commonly used industrial fieldbus, such as: CAN bus, RS232/485 bus, Ethernet bus, and supports common communication protocols such as: CANopen, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, etc., users can easily realize function expansion and real-time communication by using these communication buses.
