GCAN-202 device configuration description and connection met

Connected to the PC for configuration, the Guangcheng GCAN-202 module is powered by +9~24V DC. After the device is powered normally, the working mode and basic operating parameters of the PC can be configured using the CANet Config configuration software on the PC.Restore factory settings, GCAN-202 intelligent gateway hardware factory default IP: 192.168.1.10, if the user has modified the IP address and forget, then the reset button can be used to reset its parameters. After the GCAN-202 is powered on, find the reset button in the device as shown above. Press the button for about 2-3 seconds. After the button is turned on, the GCAN-202 is powered back on and the system is restored to the factory settings.
To change the IP address of the PC, before using the PC to communicate with the GCAN-202 device, you need to ensure that the user's PC has an Ethernet card, and the PC and the GCAN-202 device must be in the same network segment. The GCAN-202 device is factory set with a default IP address (192.168.1.10) and gateway (255.255.255.0). The user can check whether the device is on the same network segment as the user PC according to the process shown in Figure 3.1. Connected to the Ethernet, the Ethernet interface of the Guangcheng GCAN-202 interface card complies with the Ethernet standard protocol specification. The device integrates 10/100M adaptive Ethernet chip and supports plug and play. Users can connect Industrial Ethernet to GCAN-202 using standard Ethernet cable, and connect with CAN. GCAN-202 is connected to CAN bus, CAN_H is connected to CAN_H, and CAN_L is connected to CAN_L to establish communication. The CAN-bus network adopts a linear topology. The two terminals farthest to the bus need to be equipped with a 120Ω termination resistor. If the number of nodes is greater than 2, the intermediate node does not need to be equipped with a 120Ω termination resistor. For branch connections, the length should not exceed 3 meters.

In TCP Server mode, GCAN-202 does not actively connect with other devices. It always waits for the connection of the kehu end (TCP Client), and can establish two-way data communication after establishing a TCP connection with the kehu end. In the TCPkehu end (TCP Client) mode, the GCAN-202 will actively and pre-set the TCP. Server connection. If the connection is unsuccessful, the kehu end will continuously try to establish a connection with the TCP server according to the set connection conditions. Two-way data communication can be performed after establishing a TCP connection with the TCP server, and the UDP mode uses the UDP protocol for data communication. UDP is a non-connection-based communication method. It cannot guarantee that the data packets sent to the target host are correctly received. Therefore, in the case where the reliability is high, the upper layer communication protocol is required to ensure the data is correct; but because of the UDP method. It is a simpler communication method. It does not increase excessive extra traffic and can provide higher communication speed than TCP to ensure the real-time performance of data packets. In fact, in the case where the network environment is relatively simple and the network communication load is not too large, the UDP working mode is not easy to make mistakes.
